Install the checker bookmark
- Drag the yellow button below to the bookmarks bar in Chrome or Edge.
- Open a Synology Chat thread that shows a comment count.
- Click the saved “Free thread check” bookmark.
- If “A Synology Chat thread was detected” appears, the check is complete.
No conversation is expanded, copied, printed, uploaded, or transmitted.
What the checker reports
- Whether the open thread is detected
- The comment count shown on screen
- Detected text length and visible media count
- Whether more/detail controls are present
This checker is designed for desktop Chrome and Edge. Synology Chat updates and interface differences between environments mean that complete message capture cannot be guaranteed.
